i use the torque settings given for the later tonti framed bikes.
flywheel: 30ft/lbs
main bearing carrier (std. 8mm setting): 18/21 ft/lbs

Well, I've got both the premier manual and guzziology, but still can't seem to find torque values for most of the fasteners in the engine. Some of the critical stuff like big-end bearing fasteners, etc. have values, but others like the main bearing carrier dont. I don't mind small stuff like oil pan, gen bracket, etc. but what are other people torqueing the main carrier to? whabout flywheel? thanks, jeff |
