Bryan,
Yup the search engine pretty much sucks. I usually just get frustrated and
post my question. Even though it was allready posted, you never know who
might be listening and offer a new idea or an improved way of doing things.
You'll find that most of us go through 2 places for parts.
1) MG Cycles, Brooklyn, WI 1-800-464-2925
2) MG Classics in CA. Don't know the #. Mark is usually out there listening
though. There is a nice web site also.
Either one will have rebuild kits with everything you need.
As for your carb problem the hot cold method was a no go? eh, sounded good
to me.
Believe it or not I havn't had to deal with 'em, sorry been through my carbs
plenty o' times and have never noticed a plastic bushing. I know what your
talking about, I've seen one, just lately, hangin' with Darrell. He claims I
just didn't notice it and it's there. Personally I think Darrell's full of
it. HA!! HA!!(kidding of coarse) Never trust a man with THAT many
motorcycles, one has to wonder just where he get's 'em all. Hmmmmm....

Subject: Carburetor rebuild kits?

Hi All,
Sorry if any of these questions have been covered before, my search
function for this list doesn't work. Anyone know why? Anyhow please
bear with me as I am new to this list, but a long time Moto Guzzi owner
getting back into it.
Does anyone know a good source for all the little rubber parts in the
Dell'Orto VHBs? Is there such a thing as a rebuild kit? All the rubber
parts in the carbs are either cracked or hard as a rock. Also, does
anyone have anymore suggestions about how to get the plastic carb
bushing that sits in between the carb body and the intake manifold out(I
want to dip the carb body).

Thanks for any and all help
Cheers,
Bryan
