Subject: 1971 Ambassador 4 sale

I hate to do it, but I'm offering my '71 Ambassador for sale. I bought the
bike just a few weeks ago as a project, but because of some unplanned
expenses (I'm currently building a new house) I need to sell it. I bought
the bike and parked it in my garage.

The bike has 23,000 miles and is currently NOT running. It needs a lot of
TLC, but AFAIK it is complete minus a battery and a headlight bulb. It
doesn't appear to have ever been crashed (no road rash, ect) but does have
several dents in the tank and one in the front fender. My guess is at some
point either it fell over onto something or something fell onto it. It
also
includes the original owners manual and an original overhaul manual.

When I first posted about buying the bike the general concensus was I got
a
very good deal. Partly because I want to sell it quickly, and partly
because
I belive in "paying it forward" I'm not trying to make money off the bike.
I'm located in Pittsboro, IN, about 15 miles west of Indianapolis, IN on
I-74. If the buyer comes to pick the bike up I'll sell it for what I paid,
$400. I can also deliver or meet a buyer within 200 miles of Indianapolis
but then the price is $600.

Here are some pics of the bike:
