National Cycle makes the shields for Harley, mine was intalled on the
bike when new per the original owner, says Harley on it but believe it
was made by Nat Cycle. There's a catalog that Harley has (or find a
generic bike shop) that has the old and new style shields. I used that
catalog to get replacement plexiglass. The full shield was around $150,
not sure, but I think they also had the brackets. My buddy Cam bought a
set of chrome arms that attach the shield to the brackets which mount to
each fork, nice touch. You can see a pic of our bikes on
www.classicguzzi.com, loop owner pix.

Good Luck.

I just got a 71 Ambo (civilian model) with 25,000 miles on it and in
pretty
good shape. Well, now it has 26,500. Been riding it mostly. Changed
the
fluids, battery, put civilian handle bars on it (the previous one hit
the
tank) and hooked up the two spot lights that were attached to both sides
of
the headlight (which were not hooked in electrically, but they looked
good I
guess). Away it went. Leaks a little once in a while.

Have neglected my other two bikes lately. I have had a lot of fun
riding it
around and use it for my daily commute to work. The wixom bags hold my
brief
case just fine.

Have been reading the list for a while. Great source of information.
Sort of
addicting.

I am looking to see if anyone has a recommendation on a police style
windshield and brackets. I like the way the Harley windshields can be
taken
off and put on easily. Any suggestions?
