Keith:
Search ebay under police Kawasaki. There's usually at least one case for
sale there. Or try Harley police
Failing that, try the police motorcycle historical association (pmha.net
or something like that). They have classified ads for police gear. Put a
wanted ad in, and you'll likely get a reply.
Or, for the ultimate, by a Zero Halliburton case and mount it on that
rack. These cases are made of extruded aluminum, anodized to make them
hard, and fitted with a tongue-and-groove around the rims and a rubber
gasket to make them damn-near 100-ft water-tight. Take all the suitcase
hardware off it, and it looks like it was born to be there.
Tough, gorgeous, water-tight, and lockable, these are what people with
real money buy to carry around their Armani suits. The government also
uses them for sensitive/spook equipment. I got one of the spook cases;
it's 14x16x9 inches and is small enough to not dominate the rear of the
bike, yet holds a lot.
If you're super-rich, buy new. If not, get an old, slightly beat one off
ebay and polish or paint it. These are "the shit." (I'll regret telling
you all this when time comes for me to buy another one.)

A while back I had seen a steel cop box/trunk looking thing on e-bay that matched the cop steel saddle bags that I have. Should have bought it then as I have not seen one since. I have the little rack that this box is supposed to sit on, and it's on the bike now. Was wondering if anybody had one of these old cop trunk/boxes laying around, thought it would neat to add it to the bike for looks and functionality (loading up some gear for the National!) Thanx!
