hey Bill,

For the replacement piston rings check the underside of the piston for
a forging mark. You may get lucky and find the manufacturer's name like
I just did for my LAPD. Get a mic or good dial indicated caliper and
measure the diameter of the piston, the distance from the top to the
ring groove, the gap of the groove, the depth of the groove, etc.
Find the mfr on the web and call em. I forgot who mine was made by but
but one ring (non-oiler) cost me about $5 (I bought two complete sets of
course).

I'll find out who mine was made by and post later.
