I set of the lights on the wixom bags on my wife's Ambo as brake lights.
She wanted some extra brake lights. I used a insulated spade (male -
female) connector so I could unplug the lights when I remove the bags.
Worked out great.

Loopsters: From what I can tell, the lights on the Wixom saddlebags are
just running lights (i.e., not brake lights). Is that right?
There are no wires for these lights I can find: they were not connected
when I got the bike. (They were in pretty sad shape).
Repairing these bags should allow me to achieve the much sought after
Dreaded Previous Owner eXtraordinaire (DPOX) status. I'm working up a
"custom" latching system. Painting should start late this week.
