I mentioned this in another message, but wanted to get some feedback
from other loopers on what their suspension is like. Mine seems
bouncy/mushy up front, sort of like a cadillac with blown shocks on the
front end, hit a bump and she seems to bounce a few times before
settling down. Doesn't do much for confident cornering. Went for a
nice cruise with a friend the other eve through the Pine Barrons of NJ,
quite scenic, but frequent twisties with bumps made for some white
nuckle and slower corners than I am used to. Is this normal for a 71
Ambo suspension? I am running 30 wt Fork Oil per Mark E's
recommendation and she still has stock shocks on the rear, which are set
at adjustment 1. I thought about cranking the shocks up to #2, but
figured that might put more bounce on the front. Thoughts? Definitely
need some feedback as to how other loops handle. Ideas how to stiffen
up the bounce a bit? Cams Edlo handled nice in comparison to mine, nice
rebound, he is running stock shocks also.
