Sure would have liked to get the Interceptor ! I would trade 2 perfect
Loops for a decent RE !!!

OK... Here goes.. I've been agonizing about this for the last couple of
months and really need to do something about it.

History... I've got a '67 V700 that I bought in 1970 and subsequently
drove
all over the country for 2 years. Working here and there and then
moving
on. After settling down and getting married I parked it for quite a few
years. About a year ago I decided to get it running again. I bought
new
Cylinders, pistons, rings, gaskets, cables, tires, battery etc... etc...
I
got it running but it needs some work getting everything running right.
It's titled, licensed and inspected (Texas).

Cosmetically, it's not horrible but it's not good either. The 6 months
I
spent in the Fla Keys took it's toll on the chrome.

I love Guzzi's, I just don't have the desire to restore bikes anymore..
Soooo, I need to find someone who will treat it right. I've already
gotten
rid of my Royal Enfield Interceptor, and my BMW R100/7 and now I need to
do
something about the Guzzi while someone can still make something out of
it.

I'd like to recoup some of the money I've put into it the last 6 months,
but
more importantly, I'd like to find a good home for the beast and not a
home
where someone is going to part it out. Right now, it's a naked bike.
I've
got a Windjammer II, a wixom fairing, Wixom bags and rails, an extra
engine
(Ambo .750CC) and lots of other Guzzi pieces/parts that I've accumulated
over the last 30 years that'll go with it.

If anyone is interested and wants pics Email me and I'll send some. I
don't
want to ship so it'll be a "take with" deal.

Let me know... Jim

Is that the single malt talking or just another cheap WHINE ?
