Welcome aboard.
You will get a bunch of different answers here on this one. I use
20W/50 Valvoline Racing Oil since a highly regarded Guzzi mechanic use
it. Others use Pep Boys or the cheapest stuff on the shelf. From what
I hear, oils today are far superior than yesterday and have all types of
detergents in them, so you can use the cheap stuff w/o a problem. All a
matter of personal preference.
