One thing is to consider how you check it. On most bikes the correct way
is to square up the dipstick in the hole but don't screw it down. With
Guzzis, I think you are supposed to screw it down tight against the
gasket and remove it. That makes a big difference. I also think the
"rated" capacity is 3 litres or 3.17 quarts. I usually put 3 quarts in
mine. I don't run mine as hard as Ken, though.
