Bridgestone Spifires , a 110 on the front and a 120 on the rear of my
1972 Police Eldo. About 8,000 miles last year and no complaints. Riden
far and hard . Good bet for the money. The 120 rear is about as big as
is comfortable. Just clears the swing arm and may require uninflating to
install rear wheel. ( OR a GOOD GRUNT !)

i am currently running bridgestone spitfires front and rear on my ambo.
they handle good ,have a good lasting tread and are not very expensive(
$50 for the front,$58 for the rear from chapperels in CA) th e sizes
are 110/90-18 in the front and 110/90-18 in the back, but you can run
120/90-18 for the back. hope this helps

Anyhow it sounds mechanically tight, runs real nice, clutch works great,

shifts good, and even stops! The front tire is about worn out & it seems
a
bit twitchy up front. The electrical has been a bit molested, but the
important systems function just fine. Unfortunately, it isn't mine. I
picked
it up for a friend whom I am meeting at VMD. At least I get to ride it
out
to Mid Ohio for delivery.
I don't have much time but I think I'll try to replace the front
tire before I go. Looking for recommendations on size/brand/model tire
to
use-looking for stability, not snapy response.

Thanks,

Joe in St Louis
