Some people have told me that they were painted with a wrinkle finish,
but mine looked like just semi-gloss plack, so that's what I did em in.
The housing is supposed to be wrinkle finished, so I sent off and had it
wrinkle powder-coated.

 Not the Eldos with a tach and speedo. They do have a big rubber o-ring
at the base of each gauge.
