According to my parts list they should be "13504541- cap, front fork- Qty 2
each " from plate 1 "front fork, fender, disc brake control". Don't know if
they are still available though.

that is the part. I bought a set of new dampers and seals, and now I can
not get the caps back on. They screw down 1/2 way and lock up. The
threads do not look to bad so I do not know that the problem is. I need
some new ones anyway. It looks like the PO used a chisel and hammer to
remove and install them. I have a 74 Eldo parts book (even has a break
down for amal carbs) it does not have a break down for a disc or 4LS
front end.
