 Hello y'all,

My name is Mark, living in rural Virginia, in the foothills of the Blue
Ridge Mountains. I recently sold my '95 1100 Sport, but have retained
ownership of the '70 & '71 Ambassadors. The '70 is a solo seat police
model from an unknown european country. I had gotten started on a full
restoration a couple years ago, the transmission is still apart :-( I had
the cylinders replated by US Chrome in FonDuLac WI; excellent quality job.
I'm modifying the intake manifolds to accept a pair of Mikuni VM
roundslides, 34mm, and using ported T3 heads. I've polished all alloy
parts, respoked the wheels, powder painted as many things as possible,
leaving only the sheet metal for conventional paint, installed
progressively wound springs in the front end, and plan on making a
stainless exhaust system. The bike has stamped steel wind
deflector/running boards that bolt to the front crash bars and the driver
footpeg stantions, a radio box rear fender rack, a front fender license
plate, etc.
The '71 is currently coming together. I bought a pair of Bates (ribbed
lids) bags, and found a matching :-) trunk box in my bud's Ron's barn. It
is getting a pearl gold over white paint job, with new decals. I NEED
another set, so, if John Prusneck reads this, please hook up with me!!
THANKS. I'm also looking for new footpeg rubber for the driver pegs.
Enough rambling.....I sure love to style of the Loopframes!!!!!

Mark
