No, it does it even after riding a while. I did check the battery and it is
fine. That's what I initially thought was that the new battery was bad since
it seemed to have no effect on the starting situation. I am going to follow
Patrick's suggestions. I have been slowing cleaning wiring contacts but have
not done the ones to the starter yet. I got it in the spring and have been
slowly doing maintenance to it. Just had the rear end off to grease the
swingarm, carrier, rear wheel bearings and splines. It seems to run fine,
idle nice. Put 3000 miles on it so far. It is my everyday ride. Just want
to get the starter to turn properly. Thanks,
