The Eldo was not idling worth a hoot so I took both (VHB) carbs apart,
cleaned them, and blew air through everything orifice I could find. Result
is perfect idle. However, when reassembling I found both static seal O-rings
on the piece that the cable housing fits were torn. My local hydraulic house
came up with an O-ring of the right diameter, but it is too large in cross
section. It sort of fits, but not completely down into the carb body.
Question: Does anyone know a source for these tiny O-rings? How about a part
number? Or, why can't I just leave the O-ring out and make a paper gasket to
fit between this part and the carb housing?

And recently I was hunting for a rubber bumper for the Eldo sidestand. After
looking in way too many car carcasses at the junky, found a perfect fit from
the rear hatchback of a Ford Fiesta. So I took a couple of extras.
