Mike,
When I measured by big end bearing for free play I too had thought about
your way of changing them out. Good to know it can be done. Bob

I replaced the big-end bearings in my Ambo without pulling the motor. I
just leaned the bike over on its side and worked up through the bottom,
with the oil pan removed. Worked fine, was an easy job. That was only
4000 miles ago, but no problems so far!

The cheep, junky original bearings only lasted a meesly 120,000 miles.
If that's all the better guzzi can do, my next bike will be a Ural. (I'm
laughing, of course.)
