Thanks Fred,

Sounds pretty good. Right now I am watching the weather. If the forecast
stays the same I might cancel and plan for the next weekend. I will let you
know what we come up with and hopefully we can meet up along the way.

If you wanted to do the Skyway first, you could go up 60 and 19 through
Blairsville to 19/74, turn left on 19 and go a couple miles to 294.
Turn right on 294, which will take you to Highway 68. Make a right on
68 and it will take you to Tellico Plains and the Tennessee end of the
Skyway. 294 and 68 are both excellent.

 Fred,

We'll leave Dahlonega about 830am and I don't know the exact
route we'll
 be
taking. I just remembered that I lent my North Carolina map to a buddy
so I
am a bit in the dark.

My thoughts were to take the 129 from Topton (74/19) and head
north. The
 map
I am looking at is crappy but at some point I want to get over to 441
and
head south.

I am sure we can meet up....maybe for lunch?

Which direction do you plan on going? When do you estimate
you'll be up

at the store? Maybe a tonti could meet up.

Planning to ride Deal's Gap and the Cherahola Skyway on Sat with Ed
Flanagan. Should be a hoot. The only thing is we "Old Loopers"
will have
 to
keep watching for the screaming race bikes coming up from behind :-)

Have a good weekend all....Ian
