Subject: Front axle washer question

A soggy weekend (3.4 inches yesterday alone) gave me time to work on the
Eldo. In the parts book, it shows one flat washer on either end of the
front axle (2-shoe drum). It looks like one goes right up against the
plate holding the brake shoes (right where the step in the axle is) and
the other goes under the big nut on the other side. Does that sound
right?
