Hey,
good to find other loopframe fans out there. I have a '72 eldo (running)
and another that I bought in boxes that I am slowly putting back together.
Kinda like a before and after picture. Anyways, I have the premier manual
and I have guzziology. damn good books, both of em. Well, I got engine
case beadblasted and the guy who did the blasting pulled the cylinder studs
out of the case. The threads on the ends are different depths, does the
short side go in the case or does the long side? also, how difficult should
it be to screw them in? The one I tried was real difficult, almost felt
crossthreaded, but I backed it out and the threads were clean. any tricks
to screwing them in?
