if it's been blasted, get the correct size tap & run it through the threads to clean them of blast media. i'd say some is still present even though it looks clean. then steam clean it. pay extra attention to the oilways. if ANY bead is around when you start the engine you'll be sorry! cookie |

the threadsize for the cylinder studs and for the transmission mounting
studs
so I can go source some taps?
