After getting my '74 Eldo Police bike back together, the cast piece of
the rear trans cover that holds the pivot end of the throw-out lever fell
off. I have to pull the rear trans cover to get it welded back on. So far,
so good. Now the motor and trans are out, But I can't get the layshaft
(output shaft) shouldered nut off. I don't have the special tool to hold the
splined shaft. I took it off years ago to do the shifter return spring, but I
don't remember how.any sugesstions would be greatly appreciated. Greg Hopkins
