You can buy new for less if you look around. Also, if you
rechrome handlebars, they will most likely come out too
small to fit the clamps and controls tightly. I bought
new handlebars for about $50 from MG cycle. My crappy
rechroming job would have been $70, but the guy felt bad
and only charged me his cost of $40. Look around. If you
do have stuff rechromed, send it to Mark at MG Classics or
Moe at Cycle Garden. They'll have it done right, but
it'll cost.
