Tom, are you speaking of the choke cable perhaps? I would assume so, but...
the book says nothing about an "enrichner cable" It would make sense if
the choke was on on that side and it fouls out right away. I could scan
the exploded view and email it to you, and we could go from there/ thanks
for your help.

Not until you check the right side enrichener cable for adequate slack

 and its corresponding plunger for free movement. If the enrichener
plunger is pulled up at all, after the bike is up and running, the plug

 will be quickly fouled. You may also have to check the top side of the

 enrichener jet to make sure its surface is smooth. The plunger itself
may have hardened up to the point that it no longer seals when released.
