Well after several replies it seems that the V700 didn't come with a
front brake light switch.

Hunter, thanks for the wiring tip. I'll probably just run the two wires
as you first suggested. I don't feel like taking off the original
fairing/windshield and headlamp at this time and point, it will be
easier just to run the 2 wires back to the switch.

Hey Lenny,

I have seen quite few bikes, mine included, that simply have a pair of
wires run from the rear switch up to the front switch, connecting them
in parallel.
Or you could run one wire from the brake fuse in the headlight to one
of the front switch terminals for power and then run one wire from the
other front switch terminal to the rear switch terminal that feeds the
light itself.
Electrically the same, but the latter would use less wire and provide
less resistance.

Hunter.

On a slightly different note I have an Ambo that I can not find the
wiring that goes to my front brake (rear brake) light switch. The
front brake cable has a cylindrical devise about half way down the
cable that has 2 electrical connectors coming out the bottom. I am
assuming this is where the wires go that would make the switch
operate the brake light.
