Its been confirmed, although a few said it would, the dual point distributor
will not fit in the Ambassador case. This was confirmed by Mark Etheridge, as
we chatted on the phone he physically tried to fit the dual point into an
Ambassador case...... no go. The tunnel leading to the cam shaft is to small
for the distributor base & gear. The case can be bored out but if I go to the
trouble of pulling everything out of the case, I could just go with an Eldo
case & not have to do the machining.
