side is the throttle side, and how do the cables route from the throttle

Fred:
From (poor) memory, I don't think it makes a difference which side is
which, you just need to make sure you attach them to the proper place
when they come out of the splitter. While you have it out make sure you
lube it well, every one I've had apart has been pretty crusty.Hi temp
grease wouldn't be a bad idea. Remember that the bolt that holds the
assembly on also takes the ground wire coming out of the wiring harness
here and uses a star washer.
The cables route down the right side of the tank from the controls.
They fit through that little bump above the bolt hole on the tank along
with the wiring harness. I like to use a cable tie here to keep
everything together so things don't get pinched when the tank is bolted up.
