 Gary,

Are these wrenches adaptable to the newer style exhaust nut or will they
only fit the older style nut?

To those who are putting the exhaust nuts on with the new tools;
There are two elements that can be used generously . The first is a
good slathering with Permatex(Loctite) High Temp Anti Sieze . Put a coat
on the sealing washer, some between the nut and the pipe, a good load on
the male and female threads. Now either you ,your wife or your best
friend (whoever weighs the most) can lean on the wrench real hard. Of
course you should brace yourself in case of an unintended slip . If the
threads in your head are worn or damaged it will take more than a wrench
or chemical compounds to keep it tight. If however you are blessed with
a bike handed down by previous owners who used the right tool to keep
things tight, all should be well and loose nuts a thing of the past.
