OK, next question/problem. Got the top triple tree off the forks last
night (using trusty rubber mallet). It appears that they were slightly
"tweeked" in the past. That is, the flat plate looks like it's been bent
before (I can see slight creases in the plate). Before I have it powder
coated, should it be flat, if I lay it flat side down on a workbench?
It's not, bends slightly up towards the rear. I can probably bend it
straight at work on a granite table, but want to make sure that the
slight bend up is not the proper profile.
