I run 10w40 in my Ambo in the winter, 20w50 in the
summer. I have had 10w40 in it on plenty of warm days
without any problems, but one hot day in stop-and-go
traffic in Philly the oil light started flickering at
idle. That was before I changed the con-rod bearings.
