This shouldn't be a problem Fred, are you sure you have the front of the
fender mounted correct....any chance the frame tab has gotten bent upward?

| Hi all, I am putting the rear fender on the Eldo, and I wonder if there is supposed to be a pair of washers or other spacer part between the fender and rear frame tab? It looks like the fender contacts the frame tube before the tab, leaving a gap at the mounting holes, so to tighten down the screws looks like it will dent the fender.
