i'm with the grease guys on this. can see no point in using sealer. it won't
leak unless it's deformed. just means more cleaning in the future.

 I know, I know... I imagine it's been covered a thousand times.. so feel
free to just pass on this one.. for those that keep reading: do you use
gasket cement or not on the pan gasket? The last person definitely did.

Also, had some interesting little specs of gravely stuff in the bottom
of the pan that you could crumble with your thumb nail... what is it?
I've owned the bike 2 years, but I'm afraid this is the first time I've
had the pan off.. any comments appreciated... Bill
