Mark,
I agree with Paul, dealings of a personal nature are better kept just
that - personal. This is between you and Dave, the general list doesn't
need to be party to this type of situation. In Dave's defense, I must
say that he's always been fair in all of our dealings. Cheers,

Charlie

I just got off the telephone with David Otis, and perused my
communication
with him via email, and reiterated our focal points of the telephone
conversation we had while he was en route to a gun show & I was about to
leave my house to drive to Fredericksburg, VA.

To make a long, boring story short, David stated he needed the funds by
Monday. I told him I'd transfer via PayPal during the course of the
weekend;
he replied he'd send the transmission out on Monday.
In my (naive!?) opinion, that means a sealed deal has been arrived at
with
verbal recognition. I feel that that commitment should have stood until
midnight, Sunday.
I had no idea I'd be dealing with a vehicle fiasco as I've been through
for
the last 24 hours.....but knew I would be able to satisfy the terms of
our
agreement this afternoon....but lo & behold, I see that the arrangement,
based solely on lack of an ability, not desire, to communicate, had
David
hastily sell the transmission & rear end to someone else.

Bottom line, is, I'm very displeased with the demeanor of this situation
as
it was presented in the "timely" fashion that it has gone down.
