Search the list archives, but I believe it was to tap the white wire
(DF+, center wire if I remember correctly) for a brief second to the
positive battery terminal. You will see a nice spark. Had to do this
after my gen was rebuilt, initially tried it to see if the system would
charge but the gen was toast as well as the VR.
