OK folks. As I get ready to bolt the engine together I was wondering what
the thoughts were on the use of gasket sealant.
Some say not to use it at all. Others say to use it to secure the gasket to
one part and not on the other.
I know that you do not use sealant on the heads but what about parts like
the rear bearing? By the way I know that the lower two bolt holes need to be
sealed on the rear bearing. What about oil pan and timing cover?
Just curious what the consensus is.
