Hi Sam,
He will be on 9 Mile Road in Eastepoint . East of Gratiot and West of
I-94. They are working on the shop right now. HE HAS BIKES TOO !
The 2003s are GORGEOUS. The engines are really running sweet with the
Hydro lifters . Of cours he will be doing a lot of restoration and
repair on all Guzzis ,especially loops. Jeff has the Aprilia sales as
well as Ghezzi-Brian and some other exotics. Looks like I will be
wrenching there too.

Tom Bowes and I helped out a Guzzi rider
from Tulsa OK. Reverend Jim rode up here to pick up a MC camper trailer
he bought from a fellow Just South of Port Huron MI.

Just North of Detroit on Sat evening his regulator quit. We got a
call from Jeff, the new Guzzi dealer. Jeff's store is not yet open and
his parts had not yet arrived so he asked if Tom or I would take the reg

off one of our bikes. We got the bike going again that night and picked
up the trailer .

Rev Jim spent the week end at Tom's.They spent Sunday wiring the
trailer lights and doing a little PM on the Guzzi. Monday morning Jim
and I went to GT Motors , Lansing MI in search if a new rear tire.
Larry didn't have one but he kindly arranged for a distributor to sell
us one . Back across the state to Westland and on home. We got the tire
mounted and sent Jim on his way to Tulsa at 7:00 PM .
When Jim pulled out, trailer in tow it was right at freezing and a mix
of sleet and drizzle. Some real high winds low, temps and drifting snow
were in the forecast. Jim's 1995 EV 1100 has only 80,000 miles on it .
He and his devoted wife put 50,000 miles on the bike last year . All the

time was spent away from home and sleeping in tents every night. Jim
attends rallies across the US as a chaplain in the CMA.
Jim called to say he made Tulsa just fine and along the way he found
the source of the original regulator failure,a shorted wire.
BTW ,Jim is 55 years young and has only been riding for the last 3
years from what I recall.

My hat is off to Jim, a real iron but rider !

Geez, when your eyelid freezes to your glass eye!! This fricken -1f
stuff is getting old! I did have a small crowd asking a bunch of
questions about the Ambo at the tavern tonight, felt nice but the people

asking unfortunately weren't hot chicks wanting to take me home with
them!!
