Yeah, now that you mention it, that is the case. I was thinking of the
ratio, and I forgot the input splines are different too. Oh, well. Back
to my original suggestion and use the 'Vert tranny too. I think the
torque converter was used in some auto applications too.

Won't work. Like you said, convert stuff is only good to convert
geeks.
Converts have different splines on thier driveshafts and reardrives.

Different lenths, too. A stock 4spd would NOT join up to a convert
reardrive using either of the two driveshafts, unless you cut them
in
half and welded the two corrosponding pieces back together. Alot of
work
and a dubious driveshaft for the v-8 hp and torque, me thinks!
