Rich Maund is in the process of building a seat for me just about as you
describe. Price includes a complete new seat on the original pan. Pan has
been blasted and powder coated to a wrinkle finish. He rough shaped the foam
and sent it to me for approval. I have suggested changes and sent it back to
him. He is building the seat based upon my height, weight, inseam etc. There
are any number of choices of colors and stitching patterns of the cover. I
can't remember the exact cost but I think it's in the $350.00 range
including blasting and powder coating. I have had custom seats made before
for other kinds of bikes and they were more expensive than that. Rich has
been very helpful with great communication. He can be reached at (757)
513-5198 in Chesapeake, Virginia. Haven't received the finished product yet
but so far the experience has been pleasant. Hope this helps.
