Hi All,
There must be something about me that attracts Guzzis of various sorts
here lately. Friday, I was talking with one of the maintenance men at
work and happened to mention that I sometimes wonder why stay with the
company, but then look at all the cool old bikes in the garage and
remember. He asked what kind of bike(s) and when I replied "Guzzi", he
said, "Then you're just the guy I need to see." Seems the farm where he
works on weekends is getting ready to have an auction and one of the
items was to be a Guzzi Stornello.

So, I went to look at it this morning and of course it came home with
me. Turns out to be a '67 Stornello 125 Sport, bought new in '71 from
the dealer in Brunswick, MD. Unfortunately, it's no beauty queen even
though it only has 3500 miles on the clock. It sat in a shed with a
leaky roof so the rims are rusty and the seat base rotted almost
completely away. On the bright side it's nearly complete (missing only
the taillight and centerstand), the fuel tank is perfectly clean inside
and the engine turns over. Even got the title and original owners
manual. Not too bad for $100! Cheers,

Charlie
