It is a 1969 Ambo. I pulled the heads, jugs and lifters.

the heads exhaust port threads are perfect as is the balance of the head no
stripped holes, threads broken fins.

The cylinders well they look worse every time I look at them. Was going to
rechrome but the ridge looks bad, mileage on this beast is a ?? has sat for
20 years but it did run before tear down

Lifters are pitted all about the same which I find rather odd. Came lobes
look fine, I was going to pull the crank but job loss prevents this.

So for now it is putting in new gaskets and riding it.

One last thing the tranny was rebuilt as well as the starter and generator,
wheels are fine no dings, and bike was repainted.

May end up keeping it.

Joe
