Tried to start my Ambo and it cranked a few times, but when I let go of the
starter button it did not stop. Sounded as if the solenoid just kept
activating then smoke came out of the starter. Now it just clicks when I hit
the button. Took the starter motor apart and cleaned everything up, Put it
back together and the starter activated just fine, even better than before.
Then the same thing happened. I did not take the solenoid apart. It appears
that there is a wire that is preventing that but with a little work could
get it apart too. Any ideas.
