Not to suggest one take the easy way out, but your local auto repair/bike
shop will have a bearing press. I have found that for slipping the guy a few
bucks for coffee, the job gets done real quick. Just be careful with the
powdercoat by putting cardboard down.

it's getting really close to that time of year,
so I'd like to get my ambo back on the road.
the last challenge before I have a rolling
frame is inserting the swingarm bearings and
carrier bearing. So, how do folks go about
driving these suckers in? I've got the bearings
in the freezer, which I've heard will help.
Heat the swingarm? The wife isn't home on
saturdays, so I cound chuck it in the oven.

It's been powdercoated, so I'm not sure what
heat will do to it.
