maybe not, but lots of gas has some water in it and since it's heavier
than gas it pools in the lowest part of the tank, and rusts. I used Kreem
on a GPZ turbo whose tank was so gunked up with rust that no gas would
flow out. I spent hours getting it spotless, and then treated it with
Kreem liner to stop further rust and seal up any exposed areas.

The process is NOT easy or pleasant and involves a lot more MEK than I'd
like. You need good ventilation and just being outdoors was almost not
enough. It does leave a nice impervious lining that looks great, and has
lasted several years.
