Well, I sold the Eldo yesterday. Wasn't as hard as I
thought...only shed a few tears instead of the many that I
expected. She's now in Charlotte, NC with yet another
neophyte Guzzi owner named Kenny Lacasse. He seems like a
really nice guy and I'm sure he'll treat her well. I told
him about the list so I'm sure he'll be bugging the hell
out of...I mean asking lots of questions. :)
If there's anyone in the Charlotte area that would like to
help him get going, email me off list and I'll forward
your info to him.
Also, I have a set of long straight pipes I had made for
the bike when I first got it. I was planning to have them
bent into a gooseneck shape and have them exit above the
rear signals but never has it done. I am offering them
FREE (plus shipping of course) to anyone on the list that
wants them. They are UGLY and would look just right at
home on JB's RaT-3. You'd have to make hanger mounts abd
stuff. If they were bent properly, it would look really
cool...I saw a Harlie done this way once...looked way
cool.

Anyway, I've had a great time with the bike and reading
this list...you are a bunch of great guys (and gals) that
make me proud to have been a Guzzi owner. I'm probably
gonna stay subscribed for a while...lots of good
entertaining and informative reading here.
Ciao!
