Jesse,

Let me know when you do the bracket as I will be needing another one for the
73 if I use the disc brake swingarm and bracket on my 74. Would this bracket
you are envisioning enable you to use the drum brake swing arm? I have a
lead on a T rear wheel but it doesn't have the brake plate with it. I
already have 2 disc brake front and rear wheels so could do both my bikes.

BTW let me know if you have a hard time fiding a rear disc. I was
thinking about making up a fixture to weld the disc bracket to looper
swing arms.

I agree about the splines and stuff (mine are still fine 50,000 miles
fter adding the cush drive as when I put it on), but in Seattle that
brake starts to get funky in just a few weeks. The pivots gets stiff,
and then they're the classic off or locked (especially on wet roads)
2LS rear brake.

I ride almost daily in the wet from Oct. to May, so I'm not really
happy with them. Guess I'll have to put on a rear disc.

If the T brakes are set up right they work OK . The savings on clutch
,trans, rear drive ,drive splines, universal joint and even the carrier
bearing make it a real good swap in my book.

No. Drums are half-width on the T.

Cush drives are great. T brakes suck big time. Tough call on whether
it's worth it.
