Maybe it's the lube . I was very happy with the way mine worked.
Rain , sunshine and snow :-) !
Many people also fail to center the plate before tightening every
thing up . Missing that step can lead to unwanted servo action.

What I did on my T rear on the V7 Sport was intentionally misadjust the
linkage rod for the 2nd brake shoe. This eliminated the lock up
sensitivity and the brake still works 'good enough' for me. You're
right Greg, in the rain they're either locked; or your foot's not on the
