Thanks Ted,
Just went on a 100 mi ride this morning and seems like my after-market nufflers sound OK now. Either I don't care any more, hearing is going bad or I'm just getting used to the sound. Can muffers get better over time!!?? (smirk) Bob

Bob
The t3 mufflers were off my Ambo 750 with old crome header pipes that were cut down to make up for the extra lenght of t3 mufflers. Mufflers were crome slash cut replicas of a eldo, sound good and look good. Put new stainless headers on from M.I of seattle and they woulg not fit. After neasureing fond out they were for a t3.

TEd,
1. Are the T3 mufflers cheaper than the Ambos?
2. Do they sound nice?

Greg
I had t3 mufflers on my ambo. T 3 mufflers are 14.5 inches from the mounting bolt to the forward end of the muffler. The looper mufflers are about 11 inches. I slit the bottom of the mufflers to expand them over the headers. Useing a 1/8th stop drill hole to eliminate any cracking! Works great and the water can run out the holes on warm up.

I have a set of T-3 mufflers, and someone told me that if I cut 8 inches off my head pipes, that they would fit my Eldo. I am not seeing it. they dont seem to fit anyway I try. Am I missing something?? Anybody got a set of LAPD mufflers they want to trade? TIA Greg,....'74 LAPD
