"Expensive" in this case is $329.90 according to Harper's ad on the back page of the newsletter. Could sure buy a lot of points and condensers for that kinda money! Cheers, Charlie.

 Harpers has two electronic ignitions on thier web page
- one that retains the points as an activating switch,
and another that does away with the points completely.
The latter is much more expensive. Which one are you
going to try out?
