while browzing an old copy of indian illustrated, i came accross an article
concerning the 841, a bike that indian had built for the military in '41. it
could be taken for an OLD guzzi! same engine layout [albiet with flatheads]
and shaft drive! very tasty. as with the harley/beemer copy, there were few
produced. the jeep supposidly ended the military's affair with motorcycles.
